On Wednesday morning 19 November 2008 at 6am an expedition team consisting of three South Africans sets out on a journey like no other.  It is an adventure that will take them to the most vast and beautiful wilderness on Earth where they will experience the extreme natural wonders of the Southern Oceans and Antarctica.

Lintle Letele, an aspiring hip-hop generation film maker; Matt Rosmarin, an extreme sport enthusiast eager to explore foreign places; and Sthembile Mhlongo, a journalist and a poet with an insatiable zest for life will go where few South Africans have been before them, documenting every trial and every triumph, introducing a new generation to Antarctica.

The team's objective is the making of a television documentary/reality series, that will highlight the reality of climate change as global warming becomes more unpredictable and extreme, and the importance of the Southern Oceans (in which South Africa plays an important scientific role).
