Following the success of season one, Top Travel is back and promises to be a fabulous international soiree, with travel tips and laughs galore from two of the world’s leading globe-trotters. Jeanie D and Janez are about to pack their bags and embark on a 26 week journey to map coordinates they have only dreamt about.

Their journey commences in North America where they will encounter beautiful glaciers and breathtaking rain forests, making their way to the archaeological rich South America, crossing the Pacific Ocean to the natural scenery of Australasia, discovering the diverse continent of Asia, the wonders of Europe and finally making their way home, to Africa.

Sallandrouze, Episode 22
Jeannie and Janez journey to the heart of the French countryside where they visit a beautiful Chatteau Hotel Sallandrouze in Aubusson.  Sallandrouze history goes back to 732 when the Sallandrouze family made their mark through their craft and their tradition of the art of tapestry.  A luxurious castle provides the ample position for Jeannie and Janez to explore the countryside. Janez heads off in seek of his parents home in a nearby town, while Jeannie is intrigued by the tapestry tradition and visits a museum and join up for a picnic on the hills. Jennie and Janez then head to the south to the Canal du Midi and board a hotel barge.

Canal du Midi, Episode 23
Jeannie and Janez spend the next few days on a barge in the south of France.  They cruise down the Canal du Midi at a speed of 4/6 kilometers an hour. They meet the owner of the barge, Olivier Baudry, a French native who is passionate about rivers, canals and river boats. Jeannie decides to take a bike ride and test the speed of the boat, while Janez enjoys sun bathing on top of the barge. They visit the fortified of Carcasonne, the village of Minerve and the picturesque city of Beziers and find hidden treasures rich in culture and French tradition.
