The Human Contract, Jada Pinkett Smith’s directorial debut, will be released at selected Ster-Kinekor Theatres (SKT) cinemas from this Friday, 7 August 2009.
 
The Human Contract is the provocative psychological journey of a successful advertising executive in full control of his life and career. That is, until he encounters a beautiful woman, who introduces him to her world of uninhibited passion and reckless freedom – one not bound by conventional rules. The perfect modern fantasy... Passion and sex, exploration and escape - without ties or commitment.
 
As their journey progresses and the façade of his perfect life dissolves, he is forced to confront deep-seated wounds from his past.  Ultimately, their relationship becomes a catharsis for truths and secrets, neither has dared faced before.
 
The Human Contract stars Jason Clarke, Paz Vega, Steven Brand, Ted Danson and Joanna Cassidy with a cameo appearance by Jada Pinkett Smith. Smith wrote & directed the film; her husband Will Smith acted as co-executive producer.
